album artwork in mp3 files...?

Hello, all! I'm excited to have found this forum (linked to from a comment on scratchworx), as there does not seem to be much detailed information on the internet about the DDS. I'm planning on purchasing one soon once I allocate some funds, but for now I was wondering if I could ask those of you who already own DDS units some questions?

I'd like to start converting some of my music now, so I was wondering if the DDS can handle mp3 files with album artwork embedded inside? I realize that the DDS can't display the artwork (yet...), but can it still manipulate the music portion of the mp3 file just fine? Furthermore, can the DDS handle mp3 files with *2* pieces of album artwork embedded within, since I plan to include the front and back covers for all my songs?

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm gonna try to answer you question. As far as I was aware, the mp3 format specification does not allow it to contain artwork. The only other info in the song apart from the song data is the tag information. Album artwork is normally handled separately.
