Memory cards / readers

Find something the Numark DDS or Numark DDS80 doesn't support? Or maybe you just want to check if a device is supported before buying.

Memory cards / readers

Has anybody tried playing off a memory card through a card reader yet? Can the dds play tracks off any type of card if you have the correct reader or does it only support certain types?

Hi Andrew,

I've not tried any yet, but guess it would work the same as a pen drive. One thing I would be careful of though is making sure the card reader is a USB2 one. I don't think USB1 is fast enough for the DDS.

Hi folks,
today i tried my external usb-cardreader with DDS. It worked very well, same like a usb-stick. I tried it only with sd-cards, but i think that it works the same with other cards.
The builder of the usb-cardreader/writer is Manhatten.

Was this using the same sd card as your previos post? How's the card formatted. Would be interesting to find out! I'll pm DynamicRain and ask him to make a sticky of supported devices for home to update.

Hi Van,
the first try was with a Manhattan-card-reader and a Fat32-formated-card 512 MB. This reader works allright.
This may be the link of this or a very similar device : http://www.manhattan-support.com/en-US/ ... ard-reader
The second one was an other reader, but the same card. This one didn't his job. The link of the unsupported reader is http://www.digitus.info/en/products/acc ... 95&p=13304
